Why Sunlocked was created: A Better Way to Surf warm waters

It started on a trip to El Salvador. The waves were pumping, the sun was intense, and every session ended with the same frustration—rash guards riding up never staying in place leading to unnecessary sunburns. 

We just kept thinking: there has to be a better way.... Something practical, clean, and actually made for warm water surfing. And that's how Sunlocked was born.

We developed our patented connection system so boardshorts and rash guards could be combined. No more readjusting in the middle of a session between sets or waxed stomachs. Just gear that will stay in place so you can stay focused on the wave.

Since then, we've started diversifying into a full line—shirts, hats, crewnecks—all of which have the same mindset: clean design, beachy vibe. We're still working on the first set of samples from a sustainable manufacturer from Italy.
